About Kruger

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi Fam, My name is Kruger, and I'd love to be your pup! You'll initially be drawn to my handsome face and piercing hazel eyes, but I am so much more than just a pretty boy. I am also one of the sweetest and most playful puppers you'll ever meet! First off, I love to cuddle! No matter what you're doing, I somehow always find a way to sneak up onto your lap to get some snuggles! If no humans are available for cuddling, I'll happily snuggle up to my foster brother Labrador, because I love being close to a living thing at all times! When I'm not cuddling, you can find me wrestling with my foster brother dog or attempting to play with my foster brother cat (which usually isn't successful). I also love to steal balls from my foster brother while he's playing fetch and run around trying to get him to chase me! I am pretty well behaved for a puppy! I sleep through the night in my foster mom's arms (yes, she spoils me and lets me sleep in bed with her), and I'm content going in the crate when my foster humans are at work! I'm working on the whole potty training thing, and, although I occasionally have an accident inside, I usually let my foster parents know I need to tinkle by whining at the door! So as long as you pay attention to me while I'm running free in the house, I shouldn't have many accidents! I don't chew on things I shouldn't, and I'm good at knowing what 'no' means! I would be the perfect pup for any family - while I'd love to have another dog at home to play with, I think I'd be just as happy being the only doggo, as long as you give me ample play time and lots of cuddles! I'm sweet and tender hearted, so kids should fall in love with me instantly! You better get your application in fast, though, because these cuddles are in high demand! Kruger is a Lab/Husky mix male, estimated to be 4 months old (as of 4/16/18) PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
