About Annabelle

We are looking for a loving new home for our dog Annabelle. Within the next 2 weeks we are having baby #2 and shortly after being re-stationed to a military base with strict breed restrictions. Annabelle, a Staffordshire/Lab mix, is 9 (she will be 10 in October). She is very well behaved, good with people, cats and dogs. The only problems she has had with other dogs involved food or toys. But we feel she would do best as the only dog. She is great with kids. She can get stressed when she hears babies crying, she tends to want to 'mother' and be involved. If she were to move into a home with children, we would suggest them to be 5 or older. She has been around cats her whole life. She is very good around them and has never had any issues. She's very affectionate and loves attention. She's a very low maintenance dog! She's just as happy to lay around as she is to go on a walk! We feel she would be a perfect addition to a household that's looking for an older dog that still has a lot of energy for walking or playing, but also is great at relaxing. She's great at sounding like a guard dog! She will alert you if she hears sounds outside or the doorbell rings. She knows all basic commands and walks well on a leash.
