About Rio

RIO: 1 �%BD year old Newfoundland/Australian Cattle Dog mix 65 lbs; great with all people & kids; fabulous with other dogs Rio is amazing! He's definitely got the newfie personality; he's so amiable and eager to please. He's very submissive and meets everyone with a gentle tail wag. Rio can also turn on the after burners when he's playing with his doggy friends; he can often be found on the bottom of the pile of a wrestling match and loves it! Playing chase at full speed & tug of war are also great favorites of his! But when he's not rough housing with dogs, he becomes the easy going snuggle bear who likes to lean in for a chin scratch and a hug from people. Rio lived as a stray for quite a while so prefers not to share his food bowl with dogs but easily lets us reach in his bowl & hand feed him without batting an eye. Rio's adoption fee is $250; he's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heart worm negative & on monthly preventative. He's wonderful!
