Russel 6.4 lbs all puppy almost 9 months chihuahua This so stunning little man was in a shelter in CA, and was from a bad situation. He was not doing well in the shelter at all - the noises, barking and of course just the fear of being in a shelter was to much for this loving 6.4lbs, 9 month old, little man Russel. We got Russel out as he was not coping well, and quickly discovered that he is fond of his fellow dog friends both boys & girls. He is not shy about letting them know! He is shy at first with people, but once he knows you he is super sweet, he gives you kisses & love, and he just wants to be loved back. Russel is currently in a wonderful foster home with other dogs and must go to a forever home with other dogs present. He loves other little dog friends, he has shown no interest in the cat, and does well around respectful teenagers. Being that Russel is only a puppy he will need work on potty training and to learn his puppy manners. He is up to date on his shots, neutered, heart worm negative, and ready for his new family to love him. We will only will be accepting applications for Russel with other dogs present in the home. It does not matter the size of the dog as he loves friends of all sizes. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Russel and have read his listing fully to the end. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Russel has an adoption fee of $550. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
