Bree - Chorkiepoo mix 10.2 lbs & 2 years old. The oh so extremely sad story of little miss Bree unfortunately she was in a shelter in California and by the looks of her she had just had her puppies ripped away from her she was still lactating & seemed to be very sad & matted and a mess the shelter groomed her & spayed her but they do not know what happened to her puppies. Clearly we were not leaving this mum there alone. We brought Bree back to WA & she is currently in a loving foster home where we are putting weight on her & she is with other dogs & could care less about the cat but is so very sweet with the other dogs present in the home. Her sad tail is that we do not know where her puppies are neither do the shelter & when we got her out she appeared to be very depressed, we believe at the loss of her puppies being taken away from her. Bree is very reserved & a calm little lady, she loves people & would do great in a home where she was a persons everything. She is very smart & food motivated. We have been working on her skin as she seemed quite itchy at first but since being put on nutritious food & fish oil her skin is improving daily. Bree is only a little lady weighing in at 10.2 lbs & deserves a home where she will be that persons or families everything. Bree is currently being fostered in a loving foster home with other dogs & does well with respectful teenagers. Bree is spayed, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, chipped & looking for her new family who will love her deeply especially since her babies were taken away from her. She would do well being an only dog but someone must be home during the day & not leave her home alone day by herself. Like all of our rescues Bree will need work on her potty training & someone willing to work with her. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Bree and have read her listing fully to the end. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Bree has an adoption fee of $685. Like most dogs in our rescue, Bree will need work on potty training. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
