About Harley

My name is Harley and I am a 10 month old, 19 pound Dachshund mix. I was a gift for children. However, not all the members in the home loved me. If I made a mistake I would get in big trouble. I also spent most of my time in a cage. I was very lonely until Sophia Grace rescued me. Sophia Grace found me a foster home filled with kids and other doxies to play with. They even have cats and guinea pigs. I just ignore the cats and the guinea pigs, they are pretty boring. One of my favorite things to do is run outside and chase my new friends. I was never allowed to do this before. I also love toys that squeak. I'm trying to learn how to play fetch. I bring the ball back but I am so excited I keep forgetting to drop the ball. I have never had an accident at my fosters home. My foster mom is still amazed by this. As you can tell I am basically perfect. There are a few things that make me nervous. I don't like really loud noises or quick movements. I am getting use to it. It's pretty loud at my foster home. I also don't like to get in and out of a car. I'm working on that also. I love riding in a car, and I love going through the drive thru. Everyone is always happy to see me.
