About Peyton

Hey everybody! My name is Peyton (or Duke). I'm a little over a year old. The rescue thinks I'm a boxer mix, but a vet recently told me I have some Rhodesian Ridgeback in my genes because of the ridge down my back (and he has owned two in the past so he would know). I was adopted and returned by no fault of my own, but I don't understand and my foster mom said not to worry about it because they weren't the furever home for me after all. I am UTD on all my shots, HW negative and microchipped. My foster mom says I'm a special needs boy, but I think I'm just special in every way. I was attacked by my mom when I was a little tiny puppy and I have permanent injuries to my back legs. It doesn't slow me down because I love to run and run and run, but sometimes I look a little clumsy and might slip as I try to turn around. I am walking on a leash okay but learning to do better. I love to chew on my antler that my foster mom bought for me and I love squeaky toys, but they do not last long around me, I keeeeuuulll that squeaky thing before it attacks anyone at my foster home! I like puppuccinos and I used to watch SpongeBob but haven't seen it lately. I love to cuddle with my head in your lap and get my head scratched.
