About Ezzie

Ezzie is a chocolate lab/Australian Shepherd mix. She is five years old. She is spayed. She is kennel and house trained. She knows the words 'sit', 'lay down', 'back up', 'outside', and 'eat'. She LOVES to play with a laser pointer, but she doesn't really care much for fetching or playing with any other toy. She does not do well with cats, at least from what I have seen, as she tries to chase the stray cats in the neighborhood. She also doesn't do well with chickens and she had killed a chicken before. She does well in a fenced back yard or on a boundary collar as she loves to roam. She is also a great escape artist. So the fence needs to be secured. She does listen to come when called if she isn't distracted. She loves meeting new people, but she also likes to be by herself. She likes to just lay around and sleep. She also likes to go to the dog park and will play with other dogs, but it takes her a minute to get acclimated and used to the other dogs there. I think she would be fine in a multiple dog household, but her food cannot be left out as she will eat everything in sight. She will also try to eat other dogs' food if it's left out. In order to watch her weight, her food needs to be monitored. She loves to go on walks and she loves to be in the car. She is an inside dog and I would want her to go to a home where she can be inside as well. She will be up to date on shots as of Friday, April 20, 2018. She does shed. She is roughly 45 pounds.
