About Gina & Jewels

GINA (R) & JEWELS (L) ~7-8 yr old sisters Both are spayed, up-to-date on shots, chipped. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Good with dogs and kids, but not cats. Gina She is a very sweet, loving girl! Always greets you at the door with kisses! She's a little bit of an escape artist but with continued work she has learned it is better to stay with her humans and in the house or yard. Gets along well with other dogs. Does not get along with cats!! Loves car rides and is very gentle with her foster mom's one year old child! Good on the leash as well! Jewels She is a little more calm and shy, very gentle, a little more clumsy. Hates separated from her sister. Very gentle with foster mom's 1 year old child as well, and loves car rides. Good on the leash and gets along with other dogs. Does not get along with cats. Jewels has a goiter/lump on the under part of her jaw. Otherwise looks just like her sister. Both girls are super fluffy, blue-eyed adults. Gina is 75lbs and Jewels is 65lbs! UPDATE: Both girls had significant matting when they were surrendered and their coats could not be saved. They were suffering extreme loss of mobility, and we, with our groomer's advice, made the difficult decision to shave their coats. Typically we would never ever shave a husky, but in this situation it could not be avoided. So please do note that their fur will be growing back in and as with all fluffy huskies will need regular maintenance!
