OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi Fam, My name is Reed. You'll initially be drawn to my handsome face, floppy ears, and resemblance to Scooby Doo, but I'm more than just a pretty boy and doppelg�%A4nger! I am also one of the most playful and sweetest puppers you'll ever meet! I am a big lover and want to be around humans as much as you'll let me. I love to snuggle and give kisses to you! I also love wrestling with my big foster brother dog, and I have lots of puppy energy, but I get tuckered out pretty fast and really enjoy my naps! If I can't nap by my foster parents' side, my second choice is in the belly nook of my foster brother dog. Although I love playing and napping, the thing I love most in life is FOOD! I get very excited for meal time! Watch out, though, because I'll try to eat all other animals' food, too! I am pretty well behaved for a puppy! I sleep through the night in my foster mom's arms (yes, she spoils me and lets me sleep in bed with her), and I'm content going in the crate when my foster humans are at work (especially if you give me a treat when I get into the crate!) I am also 98% potty trained, and really don't have accidents inside unless you forget to let me out every few hours. I would be the perfect pup for a family that can give me lots of play time - another dog at home to play with would be awesome, but I'd also be good with long walks and tug of war sessions with human friends! However, one necessary requirement is a family that will give me lots of cuddles and kisses! You better get your application in fast, though, because these cuddles are in high demand! Reed is a Male Lab/Bulldog Mix that we estimate to be born around 2/9/2018. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
