[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Happy is a sweet boy that has had a terrible life. Now he's looking for someone that will love him forever and show him that all humans aren't cruel. Saved in Tehran, Iran - Happy saw nothing but cruelty. He was burned with cigarettes, given illicit drugs and beaten with a shovel. Although he doesn't show the physical scars from the abuse he endured...he does show it in emotions. He's slow to warm up to people but he always prances around very happily. That's how he earned his name. He does have some seizure activity that is easily controlled by phenobarbital. We believe this is a direct result of the abuse he endured. Happy is looking for a quiet home to spend his life. We would prefer to place him in an adult household - with or without canine companionship. He doesn't pay attention to other dogs - and seems to be quite independent. With time and patience, Happy does warm up to his person. Happy is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and neutered.
