About Daisy Duke

Hey y'all, Daisy Duke here. I'm a sweet, pretty little Southern Bell of a beagle looking for my forever home! I came all the way from Bowling Green, Kentucky, where I didn't have the best life. I was found as a stray, & spent almost 3 months at the shelter where I was in isolation because of some medical issues. My foster mama saw me, and just fell head over heels for me. The nice shelter staff helped me get healthy, and I made the trip to Wisconsin. Now I'm learning to trust, and coming out of my shell. I have to work on some of my manners, since I really didn't spend much time in a house. Foster mama says I'm smart, and that I'm picking up on things really quickly. I love to play with my beagle foster sister, run in the fenced in yard, and chew on bones and sturdy toys. Once I have my energy out, I'm a big snuggler! I'm doing good with my crate & house training, too. I'm a little skiddish with new people and new things, but I'm getting better every day. I would do best with an active family, a yard that is fenced in, and with another dog at least my size or bigger to play with.
