About Queenie

American Shorthair
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Gary and Queenie are biological litter-mates and have been the soul of our household for 15 years. Due to employment relocation circumstances (we feel such a big move would just be too traumatizing for them at their age), we need to find a loving person or couple to cherish them for the duration of their twilight years. Queenie is a gray, medium sized tabby who does not require medication or special care. You may notice she has a pigment occlusion in her left eye. This has not slowed her down in any way. She does not scratch at her eye, and it doesn't seem to impact her vision. Veterinary specialists suggested against treatment because of her age and we believe this was a sound decision. Queenie is a sweet, loving, and wistful girl who wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap for a long purr-full nap.Like her brother, she loves to 'make pizza' on soft blankets. Her purr is subtle but resounding nonetheless. She can be very spontaneously silly and playful and she especially likes playing 'hockey' with any small objects left on the floor. She and her brother, Gary, love to sun-bathe, listen for birds, and snuggle daily together. These two kitties are pair-bonded and have never been apart. While both of the cats are highly social with us, we suspect it will take some time for them to adjust to a new household as they each have sensitive temperaments. They are indoor kitties but are allowed SUPERVISED patio time. They love to sniff outside and will often roll around on the patio pavement. Since these kitties are older, they would be perfect companions for a person(s) who cannot invest many years in a younger animal. They come with their favorite cat trees, toys, and cat supplies to get you started. %90 %90 %90 Thank you so much for considering adopting Queenie and Gary.
