Approximate 8 to 9 month old lab puppy, we found this pop in a field, someone had obviously dumped him out and left him. He is currently kenneled in our barn. He is in a large kennel but he is choosing to stay in his transport kennel for security reasons I think. He is very timid in grounds a little bit when we enter the barn but it is only out of fear from whatever has happened to him from his previous owner. When we let him out he warms up after a very short time he was OK with our grandchildren this weekend, after he's out in been around for a couple days he's very sweet he's just very timid. He has been to a vet and had his shots and given a clean bill of health. We cannot keep him due to the amount of animals we already have. We are trying to prevent him going to the regular pound because we are fearful he will be put down immediately because number one he is black in color and number two because he's timid and growling when is caged, so we are afraid they were CMS Vero and put him down immediately. This is just a puppy he needs love he need somebody to take time to show him that people can be trusted. Unless you are a rescue or foster home we will be checking you out carefully to be certain he doesn't end up in a laboratory somewhere. Please somebody help him he does not deserve to die because his owners were abusive. My husband has agreed to hold him till Wednesday morning and then he will go to the regular pound and we all know what will happen there. If someone wants him we will hold him longer if we are given a pick up date and we will transport to a rescue and give a donation to help with his costs if someone will take him. He needs a champion are his days are numbered which breaks my heart
