About Lindy

My name is Lindy! I am a 7 year old dachshund. After living with a family for 7 years I was surrendered to a shelter. I am so thankful that Sophia's Grace rescued me because I enjoy sleeping under blankets and on soft couches much more than the cold concrete floor. I'm eager to finally settle in to my forever home too. I had chronic dry eye in both eyes but the shelter I was at removed my left eye. I do require eye drops in my right eye twice a day but I never give my people any hassle when it's eye drop time. I also get around just fine with one eye, besides, I like using my nose to sniff around much more then my eye! I love nothing more then cuddling up close to my people. I will lay right up against your legs or in your arms like a teddy bear. I am a happy pup! I currently live with my foster mom and foster fur brother, a two year old corgi. I love to play with my foster fur brother and really enjoy rawhide bones, treats, and other special doggy toys. I have met many new people and dogs in my foster moms condo complex! Although I may bark at first I eventually begin to wag my tail and give doggy kisses. My foster mom has also taken me to the dog park a few times and I just loved being off leash and playing with other dogs! I am very adaptable to different environments as my previous family had children and another dog. My foster mom is unsure of how I would act around a cat though.
