About Roscoe

This handsome little guy is Roscoe, a 3 month old, 4-1/2 pound Chihuahua mix who was owner surrendered through no fault of his own. We believe he will be about 10 pounds when fully grown. Roscoe is sweet, smart, playful, and likes everyone he meets! He loves playing with other dogs and with his toys. He is very active but also affectionate and likes to be in your lap when he is resting or sleeping. At night he will want to sleep with you in your bed and he will sleep through the night curled by your side. He has been around cats at his foster mom's and is both interested and a little afraid of them-he alternates curious sniffing with cute puppy growls when he encounters one! Although he hasn't been tested with children yet, we are quite certain he would be fine with them. His perfect home will include a dog buddy to play and snuggle with, a fenced yard to run around in, and lots of toys! Roscoe will use pee pads and his foster mom has started him on regular house-breaking and leash training. Due to his age Roscoe has not been neutered yet but this procedure, along with his next puppy shots and rabies shot are included in his adoption fee (providing they are done at our vet). Roscoe is excited about finding his forever home and is waiting for you to submit an adoption application.
