About Yumi

Meet Yumi! (prounounced U-Me) If you are looking for a devoted dog who will dance when you come home and snuggle with you when you need a cuddle then Yumi is your girl! Yumi is a 4 year old Japanese Chin that lost her forever home when her senior Mommy took a tumble and broke her hip. The owner's daughter did not want to keep Yumi and her Mommy was no longer able to care for her so now little Yumi needs a new forever family! Yumi is not shy but of course seemed a tiny bit sad at first. But she literally warmed up in hours and is devoted to her human right away!! She has a beautiful non-shedding coat that is as soft as can be and she weighs about 10 pounds. She is house trained and does not tell you loudly when she has to go but just starts to head for the door. She is a non-barker and here in rescue she is with German Shepherds as well as little dogs and cats. She LOVES cats and is fine with all other dogs and does not have a mean bone in her body. Her adoption fee includes her spay, up to date vaccinations, microchip, health check and grooming. Adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email we would like to know about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many other adults, children or pets in the household etc. Yumi has a very lovely personality so we would happily place her with kids but she would also be fine as an only dog.
