SAY HELLO TO ANDY! Andy is a darling little 10 week old Chihuahua puppy boy! Weighing in at just 3 pounds, this little bundle of love will be the delight of the family! Andy came to our rescue with his sister, Ally. They didn't have a very good start in their short 10 weeks on earth. They were left for dead in a box on the side of the road in a pretty rough neighborhood in East Mesa. Cold and frightened, they were brought to us. Well, these little cherubs are frightened no more! They are just so much fun and the energy abounds. Andy is not crate or housetrained, but he does use the wee-wee pads most of the time. Being just a baby, he will need gentle patience and guidance as all puppies do. No one is a stranger to Andy ~ he loves all that he meets .. other dogs, people and cats alike. He loves to give kisses and cuddle up in your lap. He plays endlessly with his toys, his sister Ally and his foster mates. Andy would thrive with a family that has a small friendly dog similar in size, age and temperament to his for socializing and company. He rides well in the car and will need gentle training using a leash. He would make a wonderful addition to a family with adults only or adults with older kids that will respect and be gentle with his small size... probably older kids that are 9 years of age and older would be wonderful. Andy is a shorter coated breed, so baths as needed as well as regular nails trims, teeth and ear cleaning. Andy's adoption fee is 225.00 This includes his Veterinarian Wellness Visits while here with us at the rescue, his neuter (when he makes weight), all age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, microchip with a lifetime registration and professional groom.
