About SAKI

SAY HELLO TO SAKI! Saki is a beautiful black and white 5 year old Japanese Chin/Pekingese mix girl. Weighing in at 14 pounds, Saki is described by her foster Mom as simply 'the perfect dog'! Saki came to us as an owner surrender. She was surrendered for 'fighting with the other dog' that was in her prior owner's home. We would have to say that it must have been the other dog's fault because Saki is an absolute gem! We have had Saki here for several weeks now and we can say she has no behavioral issues what so ever with any of the dogs she's met. Saki is such a sweetheart. She loves to hop onto your lap and just be near you. She is both house and crate trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She is a wonderful walker on the leash and warmly greets friends and strangers alike. She does not pull on the leash nor is she barky at all. Saki enjoys car rides and playing with her toys. She does not sit on the furniture unless she is motioned to join you. She is very bright as she understands and obeys anything you ask of her. Saki would do beautifully with a family of adults with older kids. No infants, toddlers or little ones. We think ages 9 and up that will understand and respect her small size would be great. Also, a home with a dog similar in Saki's size, age and easy going temperament would be a plus but not required. Saki is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Saki's adoption fee is 400.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional grooming.
