About Esmee

English/mountain mastiff mix. She is 1.5 and her name is Esmee (Ez-may) Her birthday is November 1st 2016. We've had her since 9 weeks old. We wanted to give her growth plates a better chance before spaying so she's currently not spayed. She's going through her 2nd heat right now. Temperament as far as our family - She LOVES our kids. We have 3. To show her love, she nibbles and 'bites'. She will overpower them; paw them, nibble, and pull hair. She will also barrel past them and knock them down. She's unaware of her size. So a home without small children would be ideal. She loves to chase our cat, so a home without cats would be needed. She is submissive with our male mastiff and is a HUGE baby. I am a SAHM so she is used to her family being around. She loves to lounge and snuggle. She gets the zoomies and plays a few times a day for maybe 20 minutes but otherwise likes to lay around a lot. She will run off and can jump very high so would need a tall fenced in yard. She's slow to warm up to people and is sometimes fearful of strangers. She's a good watch dog and a gentle treat taker. She loves belly rubs. She's used to eating high quality kibble. She needs someone that will be very patient and work with her. She will come with her crate, food bowl, and chew bones.
