About Doodah

Doodah has been a part of Second Chance for over two years. He came in horribly afraid. He tried to bite for several weeks. Progress was very slow for Doodah. One of our very best temp home moms, Bev, offered to take him and work with him. He has been with her for a long time and Bev has worked hard to get him socialized. Bev tells us that he will let her pick him up and allows her to brush and pet him. He will sleep on her lap and chest. Bev keeps him on a lead so she can get to him easier and not frighten him. Doodah loves small treats and will put his front paws up on Bev's knees to get a good treat! He will sniff and lick her fingers to let her know he wants a treat. Bev does not have a fenced in yard so Doodah has had to learn the boundaries and he has done very well with this. Doodah follows many directions but he does not know any 'tricks'. Doodah is a 7 year old Pekingese. He weighs about 11.2 pounds. Doodah's adoption fee is $175.00. Due to Doodah's shyness we are asking that any potential adopters visit with him and Bev together a couple times so they can get to know him.
