About Max

Hi! It's Max here! I'm happy to say that life has gotten so much better and I love my foster home but really would love to find my forever home soon. After a rough start in life, I was rescued by wonderful friends who are showing me that love and caring people really exist. I am almost 9 months old and I am a smooth coat and long-haired Chihuahua. My foster Mom says I really am a cutie. I may be tiny, only weighing 5 pounds, but I have a 'big dog' personality. I love to play and I get along with Holly my 66 pound foster sister. Wow she is fast being a Greyhound and all, but I just know that on a good day, maybe I could catch her. I've been practicing. On a serious note though, I would love to have a home with someone who wants to be my best friend. I love cuddles and especially enjoy lying on a soft lap at night to watch TV. Due to my small size living with children aged 8 and older would be best. Oh and please make sure they have kind and gentle doggy manners. Max is fully vetted and neutered. He is crate trained and sleeps in his kennel at night. He does enjoy having run of the house during the day. He is housebroken and we have regular potty breaks during the day. If he does have to go out, he heads straight for the door. Max loves treats and mealtime and his favorite word is 'cookie'. Are you the special person Max is hoping for?
