About Jack

Jack is a 3 year old, 13lb Dachshund/terrier mix. Jack was dumped at an overcrowded shelter in TX. We got an email telling us that their shelter was very overcrowded and they would have to start putting dogs down due to space. Of course we knew little Jack could find a wonderful home here in CO and he didn't deserve to suffer due to human neglect at such a young age. Jack has now been in foster in CO for 3 weeks. He is finally ready to find his forever home! Jack is the sweetest, and easiest pup. He gets along great with the fosters dogs, kids, and at times chaotic home. He loves snuggles more than anything. He already does great on a leash and is very well behaved. He is not a high energy dog, and has a very easy going personality, but he does really enjoy hikes and adventures with his foster mom. He is pretty much the perfect dog. He is great to be an adventure buddy, but also the perfect size to be a lap/snuggle companion.
