About SADIE

Have you been looking for a BFF? This girl is it! SADIE is super sweet and is itching to be someone's new best friend! She is super flirty, and loves affection and spending time with people! She would be the perfect companion if you only want one pet, or have a companion animal who is aloof and you are looking for someone super loving. She is most comfortable being an only pet, but given a little patience and time (and following integration instructions - it would need to go slowly with her, and you'd need to be patient), she is ok around other animals...however it's best to have her in a home with less animals than more. She's not scared around children, but sees them as another opportunity to receive more love! SADIE would probably be a wonderful fit for someone who loves traveling and wants a traveling companion. She travels really well, does not get stressed at all, is quiet, and will flirt with you while you are driving. She'd also be perfect for a photographer or someone who wants an Instagram star! As soon as the camera comes out, SADIE takes it as her turn to shine! She starts posing in different poses, making air biscuits, making emo faces, derpy faces, intense faces - she loves striking a pose, so you can show her off to the world in all her facets. She's very intelligent, and will give kisses if you ask her to. She loves to give head bumps, explore and interact with whatever you are doing, and roll around on her back so that you can pet her belly! She hasn't been with us very long, but we suspect she will learn all baby sign language very quickly. (We teach all fosters to know 'give me a kiss', 'come here', 'stop', 'no', etc - all in hand gestures/baby sign language.) SADIE is an extremely neat girl - she is not destructive in the least, and is always very neat and tidy about her food, litter and bedding. Not all cats are like that, and she is exceptionally tidy. She's mostly into giving and receiving love and affection. Her foster mom doesn't think she's needy as she can be left alone for long bouts of time and does fine. She plays a little bit, but doesn't have that crazy kitten energy and is more mellow. You can tell she was a spoiled and adored in her last home. SADIE also loves hearing how her new collar matches her eyes and her new Soft Paws nails (they are pink). She will show off her nails, especially if you say how fancy they are. She will stretch out her paws and put her nails on display. She is pretty easy-going about being groomed and it wasn't hard at all to put Soft Paws on all her front claws. She didn't need to have them put on as she is good about not scratching the furniture, but her foster mom tends to test the limits of her foster animals, so she can accurately pass on that info to potential adopters. SADIE doesn't need a lot of room, and she'd be comfortable in any sized home, from a studio apartment to a mansion, so long as she can be with you or your family members. She's pretty self-sufficient, so if you need to leave for work all day, that's ok with her, she will just sleep and rest up. She's also extremely neat and tidy, so she's just a really easy 'starter cat', for those who have never had a cat before. She's very healthy and does not need much beyond food, water, litter and love. SADIE is also a little mighty might and is fully grown! She is an adolescent/older kitten and she is only 6 or 7 lbs, and very tiny but with cute fat cheeks. So basically you will have a permanent kitten, for decades! SADIE was rescued from the apartment of a woman who was a hoarder (of things not animals), who had to be moved suddenly to a nursing home. SADIE was found by the apartment management and was going to be surrendered to a high kill shelter, but a Paws Worldwide foster intervened in the nick of time. SADIE is housebroken, always uses the litterbox, doesn't spray, doesn't scratch up the furniture, and is extremely well-behaved. She's very good about getting her nails trimmed, her ears cleaned and getting brushed. As well as current on all shots/vaccinations, is microchipped and fixed.
