Gaston is a strapping young fella! This handsome guy is a 3 year old smooth black and tan dachshund recently released from a commercial breeding facility. He's a good sized boy (about 16 lbs) that enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. He's just starting to figure out that people aren't so bad, either, and has been hanging out with his foster Dad. He is a sweet, curious boy learning the joys of living in a home. Gaston is currently working on his potty training and crate training. He will need a resident dog to show him the ropes and a securely fenced yard. Suggested adoption donation for Gaston is a minimum of $350 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
