About Moses

Moses has had quite the life so far. He was rescued from a shelter by a gentleman who loved him so much. Moses was even an unofficial therapy dog back then! Sadly, this man passed away and Moses came to MBR. He was then adopted to a family who had him for a few years. Recently, we received a call that he was not doing well in the home, and they returned Moses to us. He was very afraid and nervous, and because of that, not very nice. BUT Moses has had a few weeks to decompress and is transforming back to a happy-go-lucky guy. We don't know what the stressors were in his most recent home, but Moses seems to do quite well in a mellow house. He is currently living with one human and one other dog and is doing fantastic. Commotion isn't his thing; Moses doesn't like to see rough-and-tumble playing, so a house without children (or perhaps older children) is a must. Moses loves car rides (comfortably falls asleep every time without fail!), going for walks, chewing on his bone (he's not a fan of squeaky toys), and napping as close to his human as possible. If you are looking for a smaller dog who is house trained, crate trained, and will bond closely with you - Moses could be your guy! Moses is 5 years old.
