About Lucy

Meet Sweet Lucy! She is 7 months old and has the softest fur ever. She currently lives in a home with a male dog, 2 kids and 2 adults. Both neighbors have dogs and she loves them as well. I rescued her from an apartment with 4 cats and 2 teenagers and we are her 5th home so I am hoping to place her with her final home. She has been VERY RECEPTIVE to obedience classes and she even comes with 2 additional classes FREE. The classes would be located in North Ridgeville and yes I said FREE. Lucy is just under 40 lbs and she is dark brown with the white spots as you can see. She loves to get under the bed covers and lay right on your legs to get warm, although she is kennel trained and sleeps in a kennel. We work so she is in the kennel for 8 hours and has never had an accident. She is potty trained although she has not quite figured out how to tell me she has to go. She walks wonderfully on lead, knows sit, stay, paw, place, down. She has crazy bursts of energy and she must release that energy. She loves to run and play chase with our dog and play tug of war with sticks. She would do well in a fenced yard, but it is not a deal breaker as our yard is not fenced. She has a fairly high prey drive and is easily distracted, so not sure if that is puppy issues or discipline issues. Her perfect match would be someone who has time to work with her.... I was amazed at how responsive she was to learning and how quickly she picked it up. He favorite things are ice cubes, cheese, fetch and sticks. She will play fetch until your arm falls off. She is current on all shots (have all vet records for you); will come with a blanket, kennel, raised bed, leash, collar and her favorite toys.
