About Shane

We are Norcal Cocker Rescue. We are a local 501c3 not for Profit Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Meet Shane. Shane came to Norcal Cocker Rescue when his owner passed away. She had fallen in the house and loyal Shane refused to leave her side till the ambulance came. She went to the hospital and passed away. Shane came into rescue very sad, but has done well. Shane is a sweet dog. Since being in foster care, Shane has flourished. He is friendly with other dogs once he gets to know them. He is currently living with 2 other dogs and getting along well. Shane wants only to be by your side. He loves lap time, car rides and just hanging out. he barks when appropriate, but can be a little leash reactive. He wants only to watch over you when a strange dog approaches and we think that over time and training, this negative habit can be managed. He loves to run around, jump and play. He really just needs a family of his own that can love him for the loyal boy that he is. Shane is housebroken. He is so deserving of a second chance and loving family of his own.. He is 8 years young
