Adoption Fee: $275
Lab / Australian Shepherd
Age: Young Puppy

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hey! My name is Rome and I'm trying out this whole 'bio and pictures' thing again. When foster mom told me I might have a harder time getting adopted because of my fur color, I thought she must be blind (obviously I'm adorable!). But now my brothers and sisters with a lighter coat are getting adopted left and right and I'm still sitting here waiting for my big day. I'm going to be a big boy! I've already grown so much since I became a K-9 Angel. See - me and my six brothers and sisters found ourselves in quite the pickle when we were turned into the scary shelter in a big box when we were just tiny babies! Luckily for us, the nice folks at K-9 Angels stepped up in a big way and now we're all loving life. My foster family says I'm named after a big city in Italy and it fits because I'm a big boy with an even bigger personality. I love to play, play, play! Running around, wrestling around, and playing around are my favorite things! Sometimes my people pick me up and try to cuddle. That's cool, I guess, as long as they keep it short...I got stuff to do, things to see, and I wanna play! I'm a puppy doing puppy things. I sleep all through the night, then wake up bright and early for breakfast (my favorite part of the day), wrestling, then more sleep! Then lunch (also my favorite part of the day), wrestling, and more sleep. Then...well, you probably get the drift. I'm in the process of learning where to do my business, but because I'm just a little puppy, it's going to take a bit to get the whole thing down. I'm just hoping for a forever family of my own to grow up with. Could that be you? I'm making my big debut at the Adoption Center on April 28th and you should come check me out. My fur is actually a pretty dark gray color that is kind of hard to see in pictures. The only way for you to really see how cute I am is to come by and give me a snuggle! I can't wait to meet you! Male Lab / Australian Shepherd mix est DOB 2/24/18 PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/k9_angels_rescue_adoption_process.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready. NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian. Please LIKE and share our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/k9angelsrescue.
