Grinning broadly, beautiful Bonnie is 60 pounds of lean, lanky and long-legged loving. Saved from a high-kill shelter in Kansas, she's sweetness itself, tinged at times with nervousness, but is, for the most part, comfortable, cozy and calm. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, enjoys going for walks, and true to her heritage, follows wherever her sensitive nose leads when she's out in the yard. Motivated by love and attention, and highly food motivated, she likes all treats and especially likes chewing on Nylabones. Leash, crate and housetrained, what this happy hound needs now is a loving and patient home with a secure 6-foot fence (her long legs allow her to leap over lower ones) to teach her the doggy ropes and ensure she's kept mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
