About Josie

Meet Josie, a sweet girl with a slight touch of high strung worry. Josie is up for adoption. Josie would do best with an active (long walks and outdoorsy) family with older or no children. She doesn't understand the ways of little kids and they tend to feed her evident anxiety. She is a coon hound and has a high prey drive so cats and other small animals aren't a good fit. Josie may get along with a pack as long as she is separated during eating and has a place away from everyone to sleep. She shows slight aggression around food and doesn't handle being startled from sleep well. Josie is fifty pounds, and up to date on vetting, loves walks on the leash and is house broke.
