About Stunning Saphire Blue

Hi, my name's Saphire Blue 'cause I'm a spectacular 3 yr old spayed female Blue Lacy who's known to be super gentle, LAID BACK, calm, VERY SWEET, displays EXCEPTIONAL manners and is always willing and eager to please! We Blue Lacy's are a very rare bred who were developed in the 1890's to work cattle and hunt feral hogs in Texas and we're known for our extremely HIGH intelligence and our STABLE, even temperament which makes us unbelievably EASY to train, as well as being CALM, affectionate, super GENTLE (especially with children) and impeccably WELL BEHAVED indoors knowing that's the place to be the canine ambassadors ~ we're even the State Dog of Texas! My foster mom says I'm FUN in motion AND a TOTAL house dog! I'm told I'm gorgeous but even the PaB Team says it's my personality that really SHINES ! I have a gentle soul and a lovely, highly intelligent spirit. The consummate Lady indoors, I'm SUPER smart and live indoors w/o a crate ~ the perfect breed ambassador who loves to play AND snuggle! Calm and QUIET indoors, she says I'm absolutely LOVELY with children, especially my little 5 year old friend (she's so sweet), but I'm ALWAYS up for a good romp or a long hike or run with my human(s) as I can be pure poetry in motion outdoors, the consummate athlete if YOU choose to engage me as a workout buddy! I'm also always ready for a car ride, loading myself up easily; even in the largest model SUV's! Always HAPPY, smiling and FULL of life, I love to lie quietly at your feet indoors, go for walks runs or hikes and I'm especially good with children of ALL ages! I currently live at an indoor multi-dog foster home, am completely house, crate, car and leash trained and sit nicely on command. Cats are NOT okay with me and, though I am VERY tolerant of other dogs, I really prefer to be the only pet as that's how I've lived my life to date. I'm looking for a family I can call MY own ~ someone(s) that would be my forever friend(s) that I can share my life with.
