About Bucky

This handsome little boy is Bucky a 3 year old Chihuahua who weighs about 9 pounds. Bucky and 8 other Chihuahua's were confiscated by animal control from a hoarder, and were brought to the shelter. We were happy to give all 9 of these babies a freedom ride out of there. Bucky is heartworm negative, microchipped and is working on his housebreaking skills. He is a laid back little guy who will give you plenty of kisses and loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. He's not fond of being in a kennel alone and will cry. He does well with other dogs, and also lives with cats at his foster moms home. Bucky would do well with older children. He loves to ride in the car and is also doing well on a leash. Since being in his foster home, he is slow to warm up to men This may change over time, but it's hard to know for sure.
