About Cowboy

American Staffordshire Terrier / American Bulldog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Cowboy is just one big marshmallow. He was found back in December weighing only 20 lbs, his body riddled with puncture marks. A nice lady found him and took him in and nursed him back to health, it took her 4 months to get him to look like he does now. She did think he was used as a bait dog. He is fully housebroken and is a housedog. He doesn't like to be outside that much. He isn't destructive and loves to play with his toys. He is pretty playful. He is good with dogs and is shy around them, not aggressive at all. He is good with kids but maybe not little ones as he can be energetic and might knock them over. He now weighs 50-60lbs, it is amazing he survived being only 20 lbs when she found him. When she was not at home she kept him in a bedroom which was his. They think he is around 5 years old. Unfortunately she could not keep him as she had cats and he was just way to interested in them. He is now at the Albuquerque Animal Shelter-Eastside. His impound number is A1776778 They have him listed as a American Pit Bull Terrier mix For more information about Cowboy call: Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department - Eastside at (505) 768-1975 Ask for information about animal ID number A1776778
