One can only imagine the 'life' TROMBONE (A1758886) has endured in his 3 short years. Was he 'existing' on the streets, fending for himself? Did he belong to a person/family, who kept him as a junk/yard dog? The thick filth that covered him would indicate that TROMBONE has had little to no human interaction, until being picked up on a street and brought to the East Valley Animal Shelter on February 20. TROMBONE spent the first couple of weeks in medical, after undergoing surgery to remove a lump that was noted at his intake exam. He was recently moved to the general kennels and, while he is a little shy around strangers, he is responding well to the attention he is getting. TROMBONE enjoys being walked, getting treats, and playing with toys. Hopefully, someone will rescue/adopt him so he might continue to enjoy these activities in a loving home, forevermore. The shelter is at 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys, CA.
