Young Amstaff male Rehoming my precious American Staffordshire Terrier I need to rehome my precious Amstaff male dog. American Staffordshire Terrier. He is a beautiful Blue-nose, Blue Brindle, with white on his belly and feet. Affectionate, active and very social dog. Name Maximus; we call him Max. True to breed, he is very intelligent, and a bit stubborn at times. He has been house-trained (and very faithully) since 5 mos old. Knows many commands. (I can make a list of them for you, if you are the lucky new home. He never begs at the table, but obediently lays down while we eat. He is a much loved companion; however, circumstances prevent me from being able to continue to keep him. Recommending that he go to a home where someone is experienced in dog training, or you can get him to obedience school to round out his training. He is a little snappy at times when he gets excited, but has absolutely never bitten anyone. He really needs a fenced yard. Our boarding facility described him as amazingly submissive for the breed. He is 12 mos old, born April 13, 2017. Weighs about 95 lbs. Neutered and all shots. I have records on all his vet care. I would, of course, include whatever dog food I currently have on hand, a large kennel cage, and some toys. Asking a rehoming fee of $500, to ensure he is going to a home where he will be valued and loved. Amount is firm. Any attempt to negotiate will end the conversation.
