About Cocoa

Cocoa is an estimated 5-7 year old dachshund-chihuahua mix. She is very shy and timid but not at all aggressive or nippy. She needs to understand that she is now safe and loved and will not be left behind again. She came from a hoarding situation with lots of other dogs. We know in a patient and loving home she will be just fine. She is being fostered with older kids and is totally fine around them, however, a nice quiet home will be ideal for her. She would be great for an apartment as she is quiet. She would also be appropriate for an older human as we know once she gains confidence she will LOVE to snuggle. For someone willing to give this little lady a chance she will be an amazing companion! She is very healthy and even had a dental cleaning done before her transport. She has made the long trip from Texas and is looking for her forever home in Massachusetts - could it be yours? Adoption fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, USDA transport, vaccines, health certificate and Massachusetts mandatory animal quarantine.
