About Kya

Adoption Fee: $175
Siberian Husky
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Mr. Kya is a lovely senior husky who is just looking to live out the rest of his years with a family who loves him as much as he loves them. At 12 years young, he would love nothing more than a soft comfy bed, doggie friends (or he can be by himself), lots of treats and yummy food (but not too much because he is on a diet!), and someone to give him all the love and attention he deserves. He loves kids, gets along with other dogs, and even does okay with dog friendly cats. Kya came to us very overweight, which made it difficult for him to walk. We have been working on his diet and strengthening his back leg muscles. His new home will need to stay committed to that by walking him on short walks multiple times per day, and keeping his food healthy and balanced. He will try to beg for whatever he can get his paws on!! He is a happy boy with a lot of spirit and spunk left in him! He deserves a loving home to live out his golden years. Please apply to meet this happy, old man. You will not regret it! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and sweet as can be. His adoption fee is $175. '%BC%8FPLEASE READ'%BC%8F If interested in adopting, fill out the adoption application at www.huskyhavenfl.org Once we've received it, we will begin processing it. Please understand we are a volunteer based organization so we cannot set a timeline on application review, however, we work hard to process as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill out the application COMPLETELY. Missing information will delay the process, especially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All of the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found in this bio. Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as accurate as we can in each pet's bio. Please read each bio carefully, all information that we know is there. If it's not there we do not know the answer just yet or may never know the answer. Many of these dogs come to us with a history unknown. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or physical location. The dogs are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is KEY. Many times, we find the dog applied for by the applicant might not be the best fit for their family. We will then suggest another dog if available that will be better suited.
