About Katie

Katie is a 3yr female 55 lb Labrador Retriever. We rescued he from a life on a chain, along with Leo, a Husky and the father of her litter of puppies. Leo unfortunately tested positive for heartworms, and begins treatment soon. Katie is heartworm negative, and is spayed and fully vetted. She currently has terrible ear infections she is being treated for. We know she must be very painful but she patiently waits while we clean and medicate her ears, like she knows it is going to make her feel better! This is such a smart and sweet girl! I swear someone is going to be SO lucky to have her. Katie is outgoing and friendly with everyone. Would do best in a home with calm dogs or no dogs. She really is not that much interested in other dogs. She is probably fine with cats, but we are not sure. Katie is housetrained and learning a crate. You must forgive Katie for pulling on the leash and jumping up on you when she greets you�'�|.she is SO Happy to finally get some attention! She has also not been taught any manners. Katie is very smart though, and knows how to sit for a treat�'�|wonder what else you could teach her? Katie is a gem of a dog and we want the best for her.
