CCan you imagine this sweet face enduring terrible suffering with a metal collar embedded deep into her neck? That's exactly the condition Giselle was in when we rescued her.�%A0:-(�%A0Giselle, a house and crate trained 1 1/2 year old, 25 lb Lab/Pit mix is quickly learning that life is about love! Giselle (AKA Waffle to her Long Island foster family) spends her days with a wagging tail, which thrills us to no end!) and giving kisses to her canine foster sister Echo. She is even initiating play by belly crawling over to Echo. We're so proud of Echo for being such great welcomer to every foster her family bring into the home! Giselle is never going to be the life of the party, but she will happily sit on the sidelines and observe all the activity (and even participate in a game or two). She has so much love to give and she's so special - we're looking for a forever home with people who are patient and gentle as she continues to build her confidence and adjust to her new life. The one word her foster family uses to describe her over and over again is: SWEET! Giselle absolutely MUST have a home with another friendly dog (non-negotiable). She is very good with kids (but we'd prefer kids who are dog savvy and know not to jump on her head or pull on her ears.) She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated,�%A0and her adoption fee is $425.
