About Cricket

This is Cricket. She is 8lbs and 15 yrs old. This amazingly resilient little girl has had her world turned upside down but is the definition of a survivor. She came to us in Feb after living with the same owner her whole life. We found a wonderful new home for her almost immediately but her new owner recently fell and suffered some injuries which prevented her from staying in her home. So Cricket came back to us. She has no health issues except some achy joints and mild seasonal allergies. She takes daily glucosamine treats to help her joints. Her hearing and vision is pretty good for 15. She has some slight issues with her peripheral vision, so she can be a bit jumpy if approached from the side. She will jump up beside you on the couch and loves being petted but she prefers to not be picked up. She's used to being an only dog but can co-exist with a big dog or a calm, smaller dog. She loves her dog bed and blanket and takes many naps during the day. She just needs a loving, quiet home to live out her life.
