A neighbor got very mad and confronted the man kicking and hitting her.. A different neighbor went and talked with the family and they surrendered her to the rescue. 'She was too difficult to train'. Once we got her to the rescue we realized she was deaf. Temperament- Super sweet, playful, and very loving. Energy Level- Average energy level for a puppy Dogs/Cats- She is doing wonderful with all the other dogs on the property and has done great with the cats. House trained- She is using puppy pads Please be aware puppies are a lot of work - they need a lot of training and socialization to grow into well behaved adult members of the family. As puppies they will sometimes mouth/bite and scratch in play. Children should be taught how to be gentle with all animals and to understand that puppies aren't trying to be mean but might accidentally scratch or bite them. If you have a sensitive child/children and wanting to get a pet for them maybe consider an adult that has been around children- they are a lot less work as well. Otherwise there might be a lot of tears and nonsense when the child doesn't understand why the puppy scratched or nipped them. So please be fully aware and do your research if you are considering a puppy. Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
