About Joker

Pit Bull / American Bulldog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi, I'm Joker! I'm about 3 years old and am a neutered (whatever that means!) male mix. I look like a Pit, but I also look like and have the size of a Bulldog. I am 88 pounds of pure mixed-breed love! They tell me that I am a goofy boy, but I just want to have fun! I like other dogs and am even allowed to play with the puppies at the shelter because am so nice!. I have met a few cats and never had an issue, even though sometimes they don't like me (hard to believe right?) Want to be my favorite person? Just scratch my ears and I will melt! Do you know what stinks'|the county that I'm currently in doesn't allow any Pits of Pit Mix dogs, so I have NO CHANCE of being adopted there since it's illegal. Would you please help me come to Illinois so I can find my forever family? I'm also available for our Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to be the family that greets him when he arrives in Illinois. Foster to Adopt families have the first option to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you! While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something he desperately needs!) and a safe place to lay her head until he finds his forever home. We also require that you have the ability to take the pup to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, Geneva, South Elgin, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in Geneva, South Elgin, and North Aurora. Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life. By becoming a foster you are saving 2 lives - the animal you bring into your home while he or she waits to be adopted, and the animal who gets to take your foster's place in the shelter. Please email [email protected] for a foster application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
