About SARGE

Sarge is a 3 yr old, 90 lb. Great Dane/Dutch Shepherd mix male that was rescued from a very high kill dog pound. Sadly he had been surrendered with his female best friend who was saved by another rescue, but without him. Sarge has been very sad, missing his buddy, and underweight (only 65 lbs), but we have been feeding him good groceries and he has cheer up and gain weight. Sarge is very sweet, extremely loyal, bonded, calm, kind, loving, submissive and gentle. Eager to please & obedient. Sarge is initially very timid, but will warm up in time and then gives his heart fully. And when Sarge gives his heart, you will feel completely adored. Sarge needs to be in a forever home with another gentle, kind dog; either male or female, to be his playmate but also help him build his confidence.. Sarge has been neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrious coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
