About Giselle

Meet Giselle! Beautiful Giselle is a remarkable girl who has been through so much and yet is sweet, determined and doesn't feel sorry for herself in her gentle love. Giselle had a badly injured/broken left front leg which needed to be amputated, during her surgery we also did a dental and discovered that she had cracked teeth and exposed nerves - we can only imagine that pain she had been living with. It hasn't stopped her from loving! Giselle gets along with other dogs and can even be playful. She has been non-reactive around cats at our adoption events - and wants to chase foster kitty cats to play. She is very smart so will listen to strong commands on expected behavior which she desires. Her maternal instincts drive her to pay close attention to her human's. She is and loves to be loved. Giselle is about 6 years old and on the smaller side, currently 50-lbs. While her attentiveness is superb, her energy level is not demanding while in the home with her humans. Her ideal home will be with someone who is home more frequently and/or has other companion dogs. Her perfect human will be experienced with smart determined breeds as she does not think of herself as a poor three legged dog. No pity for this lovely and loyal companion. Giselle has been spayed, microchipped, UTD on shots, fecal tested, dental, etc. Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation. South Bay area adoption only.
