About BUNNY & NIKITA

BUNNY (mostly black with white) & NIKITA (mostly white with black) are older kittens who were raised in a loving foster home from very young. They are yin and yang. Nikita is extremely friendly, and will come around every time it's feeding time and let you know what she wants! She does it politely, but some of her favorite foods are white (like her!) - whip cream, white roasted chicken and a little bit of goat's milk are her favorite treats! She loves to hear how white she is, and loves to wrestle with the white blanket. She gets along with literally everyone (cat and dog) and makes friends with newcomers quickly. She loves to snuggle near you in bed, and is the best tv companion, always sitting near and accessible. Bunny isn't as instantly friendly as Nikita, but her love runs VERY deep, and she will reward you greatly if you show her a little patience and time to get to know you. She will be your devoted best friend if you give her a chance. She loves sitting in your lap and might get up and go back to your lap a few times before fully settling in, and then staring up at you because she wants to know how much you love her! You will usually find her snuggling right on top of you when you wake up in the morning. She will talk to you and have long conversations, but she can scatter sometimes when she gets startled. Nikita doesn't startle too easily, but so long as Bunny has places to go up (like a cat tree), she's pretty happy and will continue her conversations with you and will love getting petted while she's up in the tree. Bunny will give you KISSES upon demand! Both Bunny and Nikita have been trained in 'baby sign language' and know the hand gestures for 'stop', 'no', 'come here', 'quiet', and 'give me a kiss'. They know to use 'soft paws' where they retract their claws. They are very well-behaved, listen well and are not destructive. They always use the litterbox and do not fight. They are good about getting their nails trimmed and ears cleaned, and they are used to it on a regular basis. They grew up in a strict but loving and affectionate household and they are used to obeying rules. Bunny and Nikita aren't sisters, but are close in age and they are best friends. They were raised together by the whole family - and they love other cats, dogs and mellow people. Bunny would probably have a rough time with very energetic little kids, so mellow teenagers and a quieter household are probably a good fit for these two. Both Bunny and Nikita love playing - they play with each other, toys, and other animals. Nikita goes crazy for the laser pen, both love the under the blanket auto mouse game and they both go nuts for feathers on a string and a stick! Bunny loves little hair ties and playing soccer on the floor. Bunny also sometimes hops around like a bunny, which is adorable. Whatever toys you have out, you will have a blast watching them be silly and play! While they are still playful kittens, they are not bouncing off the walls and know to not get under your feet. They are respectful when you need them to be. They are both smaller cats and so they will always be 'kitten sized' for the rest of their lives. They keep each other entertained, so they would do fine in a house where their family was gone and at work or school during the day. They don't need a ton of room - they could live from any size place from a studio apartment to a mansion and would be very content. They are easy starter cats, and, for their safety, they are indoor only. They have never lived outside and we want to keep it that way. They do not have a desire to go outside and they will live a longer, healthier life if kept indoors. They are wonderful, content and healthy, sweet little girls who would make someone very happy. Both Bunny and Nikita were rescued from high kill shelters in the nick of time and are at a foster home, but are really hoping a wonderful person chooses them to be part of a loving forever family. Both Bunny and Nikita are housebroken, always use the litter box, don't spray, don't scratch up the furniture, and are well-behaved.
