About Cochise

This gorgeous blue boy is Cochise. He is a 2-3 yeas old Cattledog who weighs about 40 pounds. Cochise is special needs, but that's not such a big deal for a smart breed like this. Cochise has already learned some hand signals for basic obedience commands. Cochise is house trained, too. Cochise is a friendly guy. He is good with men, women, and kids. As is usual with Cattledogs, he prefers a polite introduction when meeting new people. He is also good with other dogs. That said, it's important that any dogs in his new home are polite. Deaf dogs don't always pick up on cuss given by other dogs, so he won't know if a dog is irritated with him. As a bonus, Cochise is also nice with cats, so cat siblings would be fine for him. Cochise is fun in all of the usual Cattledog ways. He loves to fetch. He will play with other dogs who like to run..,Cochise loves to run! Cochise is all set for an active life, too. He is already good on leash. He is a polite passenger in the car. He even carries his own dog backpack when on a hike! Cochise is a fun and loyal boy. He will build a solid bond with his person and then show his silly side, like sleeping on his back. He is a very smart boy. He likes to give kisses when he is being pet. He wags big time when his people come home. It's such a great welcome! Lastly, he loves to take the stuffing and squeakers our of stuffed toys. Cochise is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
