About CONNOR

***ADOPTION PENDING at this time.*** CONNOR is a one year old, male, neutered Belgium Malinois (possible German Shepherd Dog cross). Born approx. 3/2017, he weighs approx. 55lbs. He is crate trained, housebroken, vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is still quite puppy acting with energy to spare. He is currently paired off with an older female of similar size who is teaching him proper dog etiquette. CONNOR is currently attending a canine education class with me at the local college, where he is learning his basic training and beyond. This class is also a great socialization experience for him, as each student in the class has a dog with them each week. As he must finish the class with me (class ends first week in May, 2018) he will not be available till then, but we are taking adoption applications for him, and having meet-n-greets. Potential adopters must reside in Arizona. We are looking for a home where someone will continue his training. His breed(s) require a home that will give him a job, or will provide him with adequate exercise. Not just a big backyard to run around in. Someone with experience with these breeds is preferred. Dogs of his breed requires an owner who will invest a lot of time in him. His puppy exuberance might prove to be too much for a family with small children. He is very people social, and dog social, however, he has a very rough-n-tumble playing style. Because of his puppiness, we recommend no small pets. A house check is a MUST. This meet-n-greet gives us all a chance to see CONNOR interact with any other family members you may have. We give a one week trial period with a potential owner.
