We adopted Olaf as a stray 3 years ago. We realized he had some quirks. He quickly became bonded to us and would whimper a howl a few minutes when we left him. He is very afraid of inside stairs which was not a problem when we lived in a single floor home, but when we moved to our current home, our bedrooms are on the second floor. Olaf now is confined to the 1st floor and cries in the middle of the night for us. We have attempted to cure this with Vet care and prescribed medications. Unfortunately this has not worked. He has never distroyed anything in the house. He would do very well with a family in a ranch style home with a yard. Olaf loves being with family he is very good on a lease and loves long walks. We do not want to have him put down or placed in a kennel.
