About Keiko

Keiko is a 7 year old female Akita. I adopted her 4 years ago. She is very sweet and friendly low maintenance dog. She used to be very fearful, but is now pretty confident. She is very friendly to all people. She has good house manners (doesn't jump on people, doesn't paw at people, stays off the couch). She is good with puppies and submissive dogs, but not good with small dogs our grumpy dogs that might nip at her. I am rehoming her because she keeps getting into fights with my Whippet. Whenever she gets nipped at, she will go into attack mode. She has never showed any aggression towards people. She is a house dog and needs to stay a house dog. She does not like to be outside for long. I'm hoping to find a home that has no other dogs or a similar sized submissive dog to be with her. She gets along great with my friends greyhound puppy. She is prone to anxiety in new situations, so will need some patience while adjusting.
